Today we are faced with an emergency situation that has hit almost the whole world. The world is dominated by fear and panic, but I believe that everything, even the Coronavirus, happened for a reason. Instead of nurturing fear that will hurt us more than the virus itself, I think this is a good time to sit down by ourselves and think about what nature wants to tell us about this situation.
The Coronavirus might be telling us that...
1. We are all equal in the eyes of nature
Why do we think we are better than anyone if the virus itself can take our lives when it wants?
This virus has negatively affected celebrities, politicians, the rich, the poor, the young, the elderly, Christians, Buddhists, and people of different sexual orientations. It affects sometimes physically, sometimes with fear, and sometimes when it economically weakens countries and businesses. It does not affect only people of one religion, one race, one age group. It is the same with other diseases. Then, let's ask ourselves - do we really have control over anything? This is important to understand because this very understanding will raise us to a level without greed, hatred, bloated ego and judgments. Did nature ever choose to affect anybody with a tsunami or earthquake based on nationality, race or religion? We are all equal, and this particular situation teaches us that there is no need for any kind of discrimination.
Before taking birth, we had no titles, nationalities, no religion, and we will not have them after death. Everything we own today can be kept maximum until we die. There is nothing we can take beyond this life except a few experiences and impressions. Then why are sensory pleasures, money and power so important to us, for which we are ready to even destroy living beings and this planet? On top of all nationalities and races, we are living beings. The religion that should unite us is humanity. Being humane.
2. Nature is alarming us that we are going the wrong way
The Coronavirus is a sign of nature that we are not doing something right, just like a physical illness in a person is a sign that something inside is not in order. For years, we have been destroying animals, creatures that have the same right to life on this earth as we have, destroying their habitats to breed an abnormal number of animals for the pleasure of our tongue, polluting the oceans and the environment for greed and money. In just one year, 2.7 trillion animals are pulled out from the oceans against their will. In the oceans, more and more zones are being declared as "dead zones", just because of humans. Through various tsunamis, floods, viruses and earthquakes, nature tries to tell us who is in charge. Although we think we are, it is not us. She takes our lives because we took hers. What is happening today may not be a war between countries, but it is a war between nature and humanity. The tool to stop the war is right inside us. It is time to look at where did selfishness and greed lead us to, and is it worth destroying our home - planet Earth? We say we love our children, but what kind of future are we building for them? What we do today will be reflected in the future. Don't think that your one step towards improvement is worthless. If everyone who had brought a positive change to this world thought so, none of them would have succeeded. People of dark skin color would still be considered as someone's property and women would have less rights than men. Changing core beliefs throughout history has always started with just a few people. Therefore, make sure that you stand on the side of truth today, on the side that will improve this world and not further destroy it.
Fear is much worse than a virus, so get rid of it. Apart from the precautions we cannot control this situation, so it is better to accept it so that we do not suffer twice. Fear is just an additional burden. Instead of fear, use this time to rethink your decisions and think about how you can contribute to this world.
The 7.5 billion people in this world just eat, sleep and work to fulfill their own needs. Be the person who, in this sleeping world, will dare to step out of the comfort zone and give the world more than you take. It can be time, love, food, water, money, clothes. It can be a decision to no longer participate in animal cruelty through the food you buy. The comfort zones are stagnating us. Stagnation is equal to death. Make your life worth living. Breathe deeply. Accept. Contribute positively. Live selflessly. Every day, ask yourself, "What else can I do for the world?"
