Time with Mohanji

Updated: Sep 4, 2023

Hello, dear friends. I hope everyone is having a good beginning of 2023. Today I’ll talk about being in a master’s presence and using that opportunity well. I have spoken about this topic before, but today I’ll share it from a different angle.

Before I get to it, I have a request for you. In 2022 I received positive feedback from many of you about my blogs, I am thankful that you are finding them useful. It will mean a lot to me if you leave your comments below them. Please, if you like the blogs, post the comments directly to my blog site, not on Facebook or Instagram. I thank you for your support and sending you regards.

What got me to talk about this topic again are many stories I have witnessed. There are a few things that, to me, have proven to be important when we are close to a master. They are easily forgotten. I will start with a few.

A. Time takes everything away.

Some people desired to connect closer to Mohanji or spend time with Him, but they postponed. They thought it could happen next year, next month, another time. In my opinion, it is not practical to think like this in the case of a master whose physical life is as fleeting as ice below the Sun.

A master takes birth according to what he needs to do for the world. A regular karmic person takes birth to fulfill personal desires which we call karma. A master’s birth is limited like the birth of a karmic being. A karmic being dies when there are no more desires to fulfill in this body. In this name. In this form. Within this family structure. Then the karmic being shifts to another body to continue exhausting karmic desires. A master has no personal desires. He is not bound by karma. He takes birth at will and dies at will. He dies when his work for the world is done. We cannot predict either of these exits. Of a karmic being or the death of a master.

About two years ago, one lady shared her story with me. The story is connected to this topic.

She met Mohanji through a family member and experienced His powers. She saw that He can work on people without even having to meet them. She said the connection to Him made her stable and it became like a “pillar” she relied on. Things in her life improved, she became stronger. By connecting to Mohanji, she connected more deeply to herself.

Her desire was to spend more time in Mohanji’s presence, but she never attempted it because her family had a mistakenly ill opinion of Mohanji. She disconnected from Mohanji because of the pressure of her family. Years passed without any connection to Mohanji. Three years later, she discovered that an attack of black magic was placed upon her and her family. One of their distant family members was jealous of her and her family, and decided to harm them through this negative method. Some of her family members felt some symptoms like dizziness, numbness in the mind, a sudden urge to vomit etc. But nobody knew it was black magic.

The discovery

The lady accidentally came across a healer who energetically checked her state. The healer wasn’t connected to Mohanji in any way. The healer had psychic powers. She looked at this lady’s situation and confirmed it’s a case of black magic. The healer and the lady had never met before. The lady came to this healer by recommendation of a friend, without suspecting on black magic. The healer explained what she saw in this lady, using her psychic powers.

Apparently, the person who did the black magic to their family was aiming to destroy this lady’s and her family’s stability, even bring sickness and death to the family. The healer, who didn’t know anything about this lady’s past connection to Mohanji, described Mohanji and said a man of this description saved her and the whole family from black magic. A story very similar to this happened in my family too. I will share it now shortly, for the sake of comparison and better understanding of how Mohanji works. Afterwards, I will come back to the first story.

My story

As many of you may already know, a few years ago, many of my family members, cousins and distant cousins didn’t like my connection to Mohanji. Many had doubts about Indian gurus and imagined illusionary assumptions around Mohanji. Many have spoken ill words about Him, without knowing Him. I rarely received comments directly, but I understood there was a lot of misunderstanding caused by lack of knowledge about Mohanji. I knew from the beginning who Mohanji was and what He could do. Nobody’s opinion could change me. When people’s pressure on me and my family became too strong, when I understood that wrong assumptions are coming from lack of knowledge, I decided to write a blog and provide that knowledge. I spent years with Mohanji and I know exactly who He is. I decided it is my duty to speak up, as somebody who knows the truth, and not stay passive. Later may be too late. I named the blog, “All the arguments against Mohanji and my responses to them”. It was 22 pages long. In the blog, I shared only facts and I spoke very objectively, without accusations. After my blog was sent out to my family members, I felt relieved because I made my position clear. I knew somebody could think I did it out of insecurity, to prove myself, but it didn’t matter. All that mattered to me was to provide the knowledge that I happened to have, to those who didn’t have it, about somebody so important like Mohanji.

In the end, the blog was received well. Even though the ill opinions about Mohanji may not have been deleted completely, I believe they have been reduced.

A few weeks later, I was shopping in a supermarket. While walking, I felt a strong energetic hit on me. My body shook a little and I felt a small amount of heaviness reaching my head. I felt a reduction in clarity, and the increase of blurriness in my mind. It felt like a huge hammer hitting a dull, rubber surface, tightly placed around me. I heard a dull sound. Through the dull sound and the whole moment, I experienced a thick bubble-like layer around me, protecting me. The hit wasn’t directly on me. I knew the protective rubber bubble was Mohanji’s energy.

I came back home from the supermarket, ignoring the experience. I assumed it was not important. I got a call from a friend living in the USA, telling me that she had a vision of somebody doing black magic on me. I told her that five minutes ago, I had this experience in the supermarket. We understood it was the same attack that both of us experienced. The woman who called me and had this vision was a Mai-Tri practitioner, a very experienced one. Using Mohanji’s energy, she had helped many people with cases of black magic, stopping it completely and healing them. At that time, I didn’t know her well. We had spoken only a few times and had met only once. I told her I would like this to be taken out totally. She started doing Mai-Tri for me every day until it was completely gone. Later, she and I became good friends.

When things started improving, whoever was doing the black magic kept trying a few more times, but nothing touched me anymore. I barely felt small remnants. A few days into the process, I got a call from my cousin who was in close contact with my family members who didn’t have a good opinion about Mohanji. She too was affected and perhaps doubted Mohanji. She stopped being connected to Him for a few years. At that time, I was the only one strongly connected to Mohanji in my family. In the call, she was visibly upset and was talking fast. She told me, “Mina, somebody is doing black magic on us! I visited one psychic lady with Jasmine [Jasmine was her friend] and the psychic woman told me that there is an attack. The black magic practitioner was aiming at all the women of our family.” Then, my cousin named all the women in that line. It was about eight of us including me, her, her mother, my mother, our grandma, our aunt and another female cousin, the daughter of my mother's sister. My cousin continued, “The psychic woman said somebody through Mina saved the whole family! This was Mohanji!”

I told her I knew about the attack and that Mohanji was working on fixing it through the hands of Mai-Tri practitioners. She sounded relieved.

Coming back to the earlier story — even though the lady disconnected from Mohanji, Mohanji saved her. He protected her and her family even after they abused Him, just like in the case of my family. Even though they spoke ill of Him, He did His job perfectly. Accurately. Lovingly. Silently. Mohanji always saves people from many compelling calamities, without looking at their level of gratitude.

Small conclusion to this story

The negative methods such as black magic, energy manipulation, or methods that manipulate people by fear, are used by insecure, unstable minds. Their aim is to capture, torture, destroy. These methods have nothing to do with real masters. Real masters don’t have insecurity. They don’t have anger or revenge. They only liberate people from calamities. They bring light to people’s lives and unburden them. They need nothing in return. Not even gratitude.

The lady of the first story knew it was Mohanji who saved them. She was shocked that He would do it after she and her family abused Him. She didn’t even meet Mohanji in person to ask Him for help, nor did she call Him telepathically praying for help. She didn’t even know about the attack. Mohanji did His job anyway. He never lets go of people’s hands.

The healer from the first story has seen many people with problems of black magic in her life. She explained that the black magic damage is usually much larger. In this lady’s case, Mohanji placed a protection around the whole family, which prevented black magic from coming to them. The healer said it looked like Mohanji had hugged the whole family. Nothing bad could touch them. It was very similar to my case.

A few months later, the family fully recovered from the influence of black magic, with the help of Mai-Tri practitioners, just like my family. Even the smallest symptoms dropped off. The lady of the first story reconnected with Mohanji and the family had nothing to say about Him anymore. The lady got her stability back. She was grateful, but she was feeling bad for ever doubting Mohanji. Mohanji never judged her. He always helped her and never stopped protecting her.

Time changes everything

The lady soon came to know that many things had changed around Mohanji in the past few years, while she was away. It was a surprise for her. Different people, different platforms, larger scope of work. Mohanji became much busier. It became almost impossible to get a meeting with Him. She knew the times when it was easier to reach Him. She felt again a desire to spend time with Mohanji. But the fact that she missed a lot of developments around Mohanji, was like a regret in her heart. She felt she missed the bus. To this day, she hasn't attempted this.

It is not important to know all the developments around Mohanji or the names of the people around Mohanji. It is important to know how fast things around Him change. Mohanji never chases anybody for any opportunity. People who know him, know very well the huge ocean that He is. He is like an ocean ready to be explored.

Another point I've found important is as follows.

B. You will be tested.

People around a master, in His close proximity, are always tested. The one who walks the path of total dissolution needs to have clarity. Why am I here? Is this my priority? There cannot be comparisons with others, lack of determination, let alone any kind of hatred, anger, gossip. Masters who take people to total dissolution do their job perfectly, but the disciple needs to walk. Have determination. Have consistency. No ego. No doubts. All tests are to strengthen us.

Here are a few important points I've learnt over the years.

1. When you are near the Sun, there has to be heat.

I heard that many people, while being in Mohanji’s physical presence, traveling with Him, faced different types of challenges. People around Mohanji were rude or arrogant, situations unfavorable, emotions overflowed, communication with some people was unsmooth, they couldn’t get a meeting with Mohanji, etc.

A master is like a Sun. When we are near the Sun, one way or the other, the heat will come. Sometimes in the form of interventions by people close to Mohanji. Someone may say something, do something that shakes us up. Sometimes there will be some situations also. Something happens and it tilts our stability. All these are to break the usual comfort zones, what we are used to. There will be some people everywhere. Something annoying us, some challenges everywhere. But a master uses them to shake up the visitors.

There were people like that, very rude and arrogant with Sathya Sai Baba. People told about them to Sathya Sai. Sathya Sai said, “Even I am afraid of them. Their job is to shake up the comfort zones of visitors.” Mohanji too has experienced the same when He was there in Puttaparthi. They were rude to Him. Masters use all these things, people, situations, various things, to shake up comfort zones and help elevate that person. This is the path of total dissolution. There will be boundaries and barriers for everybody. Mohanji is not a perfect example for this because He needs no elevation, but when He was in Puttaparthi, He took this on His own skin on purpose, to prove that nobody is to be blamed for this. It is simply the nature of an avatar’s world.

“Different dimensions of existence. We call it life. Enjoy it while we can. Tomorrow is another day, another reality, another dimension of existence.” — Mohanji

Some people who wanted to be near Mohanji eventually didn’t get this chance. It is very difficult to keep up with Mohanji’s speed and all the heat that comes with it. There has to be strong determination. Being with Him is like being with fire. One has to be made of fire to survive in fire.

As far as the people around Mohanji are concerned, I believe they are doing a very hard job. When I used to be a part of the team, there were far fewer people wanting to see Mohanji and it was far easier. The assistants hold an important role. The tradition installs walls of such people, around every master, to support the master’s mission. Many times, the tradition uses them to filter the visitors who shouldn’t come to the master, or to test the determination of those who want to come.

2. There is nothing more precious

When a test happens, somebody is rude to you, days are unsmooth — stay close to Mohanji or return back home. There is nothing more precious than being with Mohanji because it is very rare to get such connections. It takes many years of unwavering intensity of intentions to get friendships with someone like Mohanji. Forget about everything else. Value only this. Ignore everything and stay close to Mohanji. This is the most precious thing except one’s own soul.

This doesn’t mean sitting with Mohanji all the time. He doesn’t have that kind of time. But if you get an opportunity to be around Him, travel with Him or attend a retreat, when heat hits you and brings tests, stay with Mohanji in mind. Practice kindness, non-resistance. Whatever people say, love everybody and serve within your capacity. See everyone around Mohanji as Mohanji. In my experience, this could transform any challenge.

We usually connect to people and situations around Mohanji more than Mohanji. We should swap that.

C. What to do in a master’s presence

1. Open-mindedness and no prejudices

A touch. A hug or whichever level of connection possible will leave the person shifted in consciousness if they have the power to feel it. One has to be open. One has to be sensitive. Prejudices block feelings and open-mindedness is essential to get anything from a master.

2. No ego

When one is ready to destroy their ego and ego comparisons as well as prejudices, they will become transformed completely. When the ego dies, the person is reborn. “Strip before you enter” simply means strip your ego and arrive, go back transformed.

3. Gratitude

A living master is a luxury. He is the most precious thing. Any other relationship is transactional.

It is said that the relationship with a mother is the purest. It is said the relationship with a guru is even purer, because it takes one to supreme consciousness. A mother nurtures and brings up a child to be fit for the world. Guru takes the child home, beyond all worlds. He has the power to show the supreme consciousness and make you that.

Clarity of all this brings extreme gratitude. Gratitude for having a connection like that. This gratitude helps stability. It ensures well usage of a master’s presence.

4. Accept

Accept Mohanji as He is, accept situations around Mohanji as they are. Accept people. Whenever we resist situations around Mohanji, we suffer. We also deny an experience. Resistance creates friction and never helps. When we start accepting, we are receptive to receiving. A master delivers only according to the receptivity of a disciple.

I will share one example. One time, around ten of us from Mohanji family stayed in one house all together. One day, everyone was busy so I had to work a little extra. Towards the end of the day, a few more things needed to be done, such as taking out the garbage, and naturally, I started thinking whether I should do it. I just came to my senses and told myself — just being in this house is completely Mohanji’s grace. I have all the comfort, all the supplies, all the love and even my private space. The people here and I have worked together and had a beautiful harmonious time until now. Not to mention, Mohanji is physically coming and going from here. He, the rarest avataric incarnation. He, who can move mountains and split waters. He, who is not coming back to Earth after this life. The precious diamond. Of course I should do it. We shouldn’t even think.

While being with Mohanji, we should never complain about anything, not even in our mind, and we should fulfill our duty diligently and perfectly. We should add value to the house that shelters us while being with Mohanji. Add value to the people who arrange us to be with Him. Add value always. Never ignore any work around Mohanji. Never judge. Never resist. Resistance always creates friction and later brings regrets. I have experienced both sides. There is nothing more beautiful than respect.

“Born in different wombs, hearts in one place, this makes the family, the larger family, the global family. Acceptance is the currency. No transaction is its oxygen. Cause-less relationships rooted in happiness of having no agenda is indeed the best fruit of the tree of life. Nobody owns anybody here. It's just acceptance as it is, coated with unconditional love. When the spontaneous purpose is unconditional love, relationships attain eternity. Joy sprouts every moment.” — Mohanji

5. Don’t think somebody else is in a better position than you.

This is never true. It is all in our mind.

Once, I had a desire to be with Mohanji and all the close Mohanji family members, the core Mohanji team. They were all with Mohanji, in the house in Bangalore. I was seeing the pictures online and I was craving to be there. A few months later, unexpectedly, I was in India. Sitting in the exact space, near Mohanji. But my mind was busy chewing on some other information. I wasn’t even enjoying the moment. My point is, we always think somebody else is in a better position than we are, but when we get it, we’re not happy. I had thought this moment was all I wanted, and when I had it, I was worrying about something else. It doesn’t matter what we have in our hands if our mind is not stable enough to experience it and appreciate it. This was a big revelation for me. I understood these illusions will never end. I have to be stable first. I need to accept and have gratitude.

Later, Mohanji fortunately gave me a lot of empowerment and I rarely ever craved for any such opportunity, even being with Him physically. When it happens, I take the chance without thinking twice and I hold it in my hands like the most precious diamond, but I don’t feel sad if I don’t have it.

Mohanji’s power is limitless. Being with Him can detach us from many things we are depending on, and can make us strong, independent and stable.

6. Never take Mohanji as an option

I have heard earlier of some people who wanted to meet Mohanji while He was in their country, but they stopped wanting it when they realized they had to travel to another town to meet Him. It was too far away for them to travel 3-4 hours to see Mohanji. In my opinion, people who take Mohanji as an option shouldn’t be given priority. There are always sincere people who would travel across seas and oceans to meet Him. This is my personal opinion. I know people who live with Mohanji face a lot of hard work every day, working to accommodate everybody without denying anybody.

People who take Mohanji as an option don’t achieve anything either. Nobody will care about their preference except their own soul when it sees the loss. So much is lost when we don’t have enough strength to stick to one guru and one path, after destiny itself has brought a living master to our plate like a reward after lifetimes of searching.

On the other hand, we never get to know how much Mohanji is doing for the world, because we only look at ourselves. If we don’t get a meeting, it’s the end of the world. If we face a few challenges, we’re immediately discouraged. Mohanji always accepts everyone unconditionally. His comfort is never His priority and yet we are still ungrateful. For Him, nothing is too much. He travels to different continents to meet people, let alone another town.

7. Never complain

I have heard that some people wondered why a meeting with Mohanji is so hard to get nowadays. Writing an email, waiting for a reply, sometimes for weeks, not knowing whether you will even get admitted. We should never complain because that feeds ingratitude. Be grateful to only know an avatar like Mohanji. To breathe the same air. Mohanji is serving people almost like a donkey, removing tons of garbage every day from people, empowering, lifting up, and in the meantime, people are usually ungrateful. But he never complains. If Mohanji gives people a bucket of gold today, we will forget it tomorrow. Another day if Mohanji cannot meet us, we remember it forever. It is almost like ingratitude is inbuilt in our blood like a virus. It spreads with the speed of light. We need to take it out of the system carefully and completely. Clean each cell of our mind and then keep it clean forever.

Meeting Mohanji is just an example that I have given about ingratitude, but I believe we complain about many things around a master generally. Complaints and ingratitude were never a good builder of stability for me. They only stagnated me. They break the bricks we worked hard to bring under our feet.

Regardless of our complaints, Mohanji always tries His best to meet everybody even though His health and comfort are sometimes not counted. He works with the speed of a thunder and strength of a lion.

D. Divine Mother in the hands of Mohanji

Miracles do happen in Mohanji’s presence without even asking. Just by physical and mental closeness. Many things happened to me like that, which I never even thought or hoped to experience.

Cosmic experience happened to me when I was close to Mohanji alone. It happened suddenly. If I had asked, I wouldn't have gotten it. The best happened without asking, just by physical and mental closeness. Everyone gets something from Mohanji. None leave empty handed. A touch, a hug or whichever level of connection possible will leave the person shifted in consciousness if they have the power to feel it. One has to be open. One has to be sensitive. Prejudices block feelings. Open-mindedness is essential.

I will narrate a story about my unexpected meeting with the Divine Mother. I deliberately kept it as original as it happened. It may be longer. I didn’t shorten it because I feel all details are important. So many dimensions can be seen in Mohanji’s presence. He is like an unlimited candy shop.

~

One day, two years ago, I visited Mohanji during His stay in Novi Sad. As always, I tried to go expecting nothing. I train myself to go empty and to keep my skin thick for any potential challenge. This has always proven to be beneficial to me.

I had just come back from my trip to the Netherlands. I went to the Netherlands on behalf of the Mohanji team to conduct the Mohanji Foundation’s programs of personal empowerment. I stayed with the wonderful people who were devotees of Gopala Baba. They welcomed me beautifully and made sure I was completely comfortable during my entire stay.

Gopala Baba was a guru who lived in South India. He loved and respected Mohanji a lot. Some disciples of Gopala Baba live in the Netherlands. This was my first time meeting them in person. At that time, I had heard that disciples of Gopala Baba considered him the incarnation of the Divine Mother. Gopala Baba left his body in 2020.

I had never had a connection to Gopala Baba before. I only saw one video of him on Facebook, perhaps about one year before my trip to the Netherlands, where he had spoken about Mohanji. In the video, he stated that the Divine Mother Kamakshi lives in Mohanji. I had not known at that time that he had disciples in the Netherlands. My trip was not in my plans until about 10 days before it happened.

The trip was wonderful. I may talk about it in more detail another time. When I came back from the trip, Mohanji was still in Serbia, and that’s how I met Him. He was soon about to leave for India. When I came into the room, He immediately asked me about the trip. He looked cheerful. I said it was really beautiful. He asked me if this was the first time I was meeting Gopala Baba in a picture. I said that I had seen that video of him. Mohanji nodded gently. He looked at the empty space of the room on His right. The expression on His face was profound. It looked as if He was thinking something deeply. He turned towards me and with determination, He said, “Very, very beautiful master.” Upon saying this, the look in His eyes changed a little. A wave of mildness took shape in His eyes. His mood and expression gently changed too. He was more silent and His eyes were milder.

During my stay in the Netherlands, every time I heard stories of Gopala Baba I noticed a lot of similarities with Mohanji. Same style, powerful and sharp, same expressions, crisp and clear, very similar ways of handling things. The way Gopala Baba internally interacted with his closest devotees sounded very similar to how Mohanji speaks to His people internally. Very practical, clear and fast.

Mohanji looked at me and said it was wonderful that I went there alone and came back. He asked who invited me. I was silent for a moment and gently giggled. Through a smile, He asked, "You invited yourself?" Before I could explain further how things unfolded, Mohanji asked me if I knew why He went there. I thought for a while and gave some generic assumption. He responded with a negation. I gave another assumption. He shook His head as a “no”. He took a few peanuts from the small side table next to His chair and placed them into my hand.

He told me to eat the peanuts and close my eyes. I carefully chewed and swallowed. He was sitting in His chair about a meter away from me, and I was sitting on the floor ahead of Him. He lifted up His palm, facing me, outwards. He told me to think about Gopala Baba, close my eyes and tell Him what I see. I understood He was about to show me the real form of Gopala Baba.

The first time Mohanji did this, showed us things in His palm, happened in 2017. He showed a couple of us who served Him at the time, the lives of some masters who were no longer alive. We had a desire to know about them and asked Him a few times, but He never said anything. Then, suddenly without asking, He showed us much later. Since then, this miraculous act of Mohanji’s happened only about 3-4 more times. He showed us a few events in His hand, and that too for a very short span of time. Through this experience, I will try to describe what it looks like.

We usually never know when this can happen, nor do we ask. All that Mohanji does is very unpredictable. There is no point in asking.

I was in silent anticipation. His palm was facing me, and I was sitting in front of Him with my eyes closed. He shared the secret ways on how to look, in order to see better. Look, close eyes, look again, close again. I tried and gave it a few moments. I felt some emotions coming up and I felt Mohanji was telepathically telling me that this was unimportant. I ignored the mind’s distractions and continued searching. I felt somebody was there, sitting ahead of me. I saw a silhouette with long hair. It looked like Mahavatar Babaji. It wasn’t clear.

Mohanji said out loud, "Look deeply." I intended to sharpen my focus, but the silhouette moved away. I looked left and right but couldn’t find it anymore. I opened my eyes, closed, and looked again. I was trying to sharpen my focus. I felt Mohanji was still sitting calmly in His chair with the hand open outwards. I took another couple of seconds.

I started seeing scattered, unclear objects. A snake, a piece of the silhouette. I worried if I should articulate out loud about my poor clarity. I knew this was a rare opportunity, so I decided to be practical. I requested Mohanji out loud to kindly give me more clarity. He then said, “Okay. Look here. Think about Gopala Baba and look at my hands.” I opened my eyes and looked. He made a specific movement with His hand, rubbing fingers against His palm. It was a movement similar to the one that we make when we put salt and spices in our food. After that, He made His palm straight again, facing me. I continued looking and closed my eyes again.

The silhouette came back. It started getting slightly clearer. Again, it was moving away. I tried a few more times to catch it, but couldn’t. Mohanji asked me to share about my progress, what I managed to see. I responded that I saw somebody, but they kept moving away, I couldn’t catch it. My eyes were still closed and I was breathing silently. I heard the gentle and calm movement of Mohanji’s hand, taking more peanuts. He placed a few more in my hand and told me to eat. I chewed carefully and swallowed. I closed my eyes again. With unbelievable speed, my focus sharpened like never before. I felt some powerful force filling up my body. The clouds and the fog in my mind were gone. Clarity increased to an unbelievable level.

I saw a huge, beautiful lady in front of me. Her eyes weren't visible, only the beautiful shape of the face, hair, chin, beautiful lips and a part of the clean, beautiful neck and chest. Each part of her was so clean and beautiful. She was so huge. It was a surprise for me to see an image so clear. My eyes were still closed. Upto this point, I didn’t feel anything except large clarity, amazement about the beautiful image I was seeing and wonder. The following words came out of my mouth. “Divine Mother?” With a deep, penetrative, calm voice, Mohanji said, “Kamakshi Ma”. I bursted in tears and laughter and became breathless. My mind became totally empty. With my jaw dropped and tears that flew over my cheeks, I was looking at her with limitless happiness. The visual image was translated to feelings. I could feel each part of Her. She was so gentle yet powerful. I had no control over my tears nor smile. I was trying to take air into my chest, but my chest felt way too huge for such a small amount of air that I was able to take. My whole body felt expanded. I felt happiness beyond explanation.

I had no activity in my mind and I forgot the name of the Mother that Mohanji told me. Internally, I was trying hard to remember, but couldn’t. The sound of Her name from Mohanji’s mouth felt like water in a waterless desert. I humbly asked Mohanji to tell me Her name again. He said it again. “Kamakshi Mata. Mother.” It felt like another wave of this breathlessness hit me. Another wave of happiness beyond explanation. I was still struggling to breathe. She was still there, in front of me. I couldn’t stop looking at Her. Everything about Her was so perfect and clean. Beautiful and powerful.

After a few seconds, I forgot Her name again. I felt all thoughts and voices were erased from my mind as soon as I heard them. My attention was just on seeing Her. I am not sure if I had experienced this blankness of mind before. It was one year before my cosmic experience.

The same as the previous time, I felt a craving to know this name again. I gently asked Mohanji to tell me again. Without asking me anything, He uttered her name the third time. Each time I heard it, I felt my cells were reborn.

Two Mohanji’s assistants were witnesses to this from the start. One was sitting on the floor on my left, and one on my right. They could see me from both sides. Mohanji was ahead of us in a chair. Later they shared how I looked before and after eating the last dose of peanuts. Before seeing the Mother clearly, they said, I looked confused. After eating, they said, my eyes became sharper. I had felt it like that too.

I took a few more moments to bathe in Her presence. Mother was much larger than the size of a human. Beautiful. So elegant. So silent. Not making even a sound. So powerful.

Soon, Mohanji closed His hand. I slowly opened my eyes. I was still in awe. Mohanji said, “Now listen to the video of Gopala Baba talking about me. Then you will understand what I showed you and what he spoke about.”

I played the video. As soon as I heard one of the first sentences, I felt the same wave I felt earlier. In the video, Gopala Baba says, “Swamiji. Mohanji. I'm very happy to see your photograph. Mother Kamakshi resides in your heart. Mother Kamakshi from Kanchipuram.” Hearing it, I felt breathlessness and happiness. Kamakshi. This name was a scent of a flower I wanted to keep near my heart always.

For you to understand the full story, I will share the background of Mohanji’s connection to the Divine Mother and the reason why Gopala Baba said that she resides in His heart.

A master named Tyagananda Saraswati, living in an ashram in Hyderabad, India, met Mohanji after 15 years of waiting. He shared that his guru gave him a rosary 15 years ago, and instructed him that a guru named Mohan would come in 15 years. He told him to meet Mohanji and give the rosary to Him. Fifteen years later, Mohanji came. Tyagananda Saraswati told Mohanji the whole story and gave him the rosary.

One day, Tyagananda Saraswati told Mohanji that he would like to do Prana pratishta of Maha Lakshmi (Divine Mother) and Ganesha (Hindu God). I will briefly share what Prana pratishta is.

Prana pratishta — a ritual of installing the energy of a deity in an idol. For example, physical idols of masters in temples have no significance and cannot add value to the visitors if Prana pratishta is not done. Prana pratishta makes an idol alive, and only then the idol is able to transmit the energy to a visitor. It is like a soul entering a body. This is why temples are not only places of worship but places of transformation. When people visit a temple where a proper Prana pratishta has been done, they stand in front of an idol for a minimum of 50 seconds, the energy exchange happens. People actually benefit from idols. It is not only a visual attraction.

When Tyagananda Saraswati told Mohanji about this desire, Mohanji asked him how much land he needed. He was ready to help find it. Tyagananda Saraswati said that he needed a very auspicious land, and that the most sacred land he had seen was Mohanji’s chest. In the end, he performed Prana pratishta of the Divine Mother and Lord Ganesha on Mohanji's chest. As I said, it is usually done on idols (in temples or otherwise).

When I understood that by Prana Pratishta, the Divine Mother was installed in Mohanji's chest, I understood Gopala Baba's words.

The sequence of the events was this. First, the Prana pratishta happened, the Mother was installed in Mohanji. Secondly, Gopala Baba met Mohanji and confirmed that, and then he left his body. In between, Gopala Baba's devotees consider him the Divine Mother. Thirdly, Mohanji visited the Netherlands after Gopala Baba’s death. Gopala Baba's disciples soon got deeply connected to Mohanji.

Gopala Baba kissing Mohanji, just like a mother.

I continued sitting in awe. Mohanji asked, “Now do you understand why I went to the Netherlands?” I said, “Continuation of connection. People who were connected to Mother now connect to you because She is there.” He just smiled. I was amazed at how our Tradition works. Perfect synchronicity.

When he was alive, Gopala Baba loved Mohanji a lot. One time, he asked Mohanji where His ashram was. When Mohanji said that He didn't have an ashram, Gopala Baba wanted to give his ashram to Mohanji. Mohanji didn't take it, but this act showed how much they loved each other.

Masters work like this. Perfect unity. This is what we can experience in Mohanji’s presence. Everything is a part of a huge plan. The Universe is so huge. Our galaxy is a pimple on Mohanji's face. A master can provide a sneak peak to large operations of the Universe if we are receptive and consistent. Nothing happens unattended and the Tradition sees everything.

It was already late and I was preparing to leave. All the cells of my body were still under deep impression. Mohanji was talking to the new visitors. He turned towards me and said, “You saw the Divine Mother. Life will not be the same again.” I looked at Him. I was so happy and speechless. He added, "It's impossible to see Mother otherwise.”

Indeed, life wasn’t the same. Two clear differences that took place are that my Mai-Tri became more powerful and secondly, my clarity increased. A more purposeful life came to me.

In one moment, I wondered why I didn't see Mother’s eyes. I felt a telepathic explanation from Mohanji that this was enough. Mohanji either shows one part or the other part, as per our choice. He usually doesn’t show the eyes because they hold the largest amount of energy. I wouldn't be able to handle the full form energy. All my nādīs, energy channels in the body, would go dry.

I said goodbye to Mohanji and prostrated at His feet. I stepped out of His room, heading to catch a taxi and go to the train station. His voice stopped me at the doorstep. He asked me where I was going. I said, “To Belgrade.” With a smile, He said, “I thought you would say to yourself.” I laughed. It felt so calming to hear this from Him now. I understood the message and walked to the taxi.

F. Conclusion

Everything we can think of becomes possible in Mohanji’s presence. He is the whole Universe contained in a human body. There were so many examples that proved His state to me. One day in Montenegro, I saw Mohanji press a button in the elevator with His eyes. One glance and the button was pressed. In Bosnia, I saw Him switch on the Air conditioning without touching the remote controler. In Mumbai, from a two meters distance, just by looking at me, He took a ball of anxiety out of my belly. It was a conglomeration of depressive feelings that I had had since my high school. Another time in Northern India, He allowed me to see an ancient Nath guru in his real form, while everyone else saw him as a dog.

With anger, emotions, we fail to see the truth. Emotions blocked me many times and I lost valuable chances because of them. We overemphasize unimportant things. Mohanji’s presence always gives something to somebody. Nobody goes from Him empty handed.

Nowadays, having access to Mohanji has indeed become difficult. Before, anybody could schedule a meeting or have his phone number, but now, only a meeting needs to be scheduled far in advance, let alone having a direct contact. I personally never use direct contact with Mohanji except in urgent situations, because to me, His time is precious. He is a precious diamond that I like to respect deeply.

It is impossible to have a direct phone number of Mohanji because there is a flood of visitors coming in. Even the closest people rarely use it because they see more clearly how busy and hardworking He is. It is in Mohanji’s plan to withdraw from social networks one day completely.

To conclude, I am happy I lived through all the tough and happy moments around my master because they made me stronger. Heat created everything. But Mohanji never let go of my hands.

I have also learnt that nothing, absolutely nothing around Mohanji is ever unseen by the vigilant eye of the tradition. Even when we think “why is this person saying this”, “why is this situation like this”, it is either so shape us, or for some other good reason, but it is never because of some “mistake” or “somebody’s personal preference”. There are no personal preferences. Everything is closely watched and observed.

I hope we will all use Mohanji’s time well while we still have it and appreciate every bit we get, without complaining. Never be greedy. Never blame others. As Mohanji told me after the recent car accident, next time when He plans to leave the body, there will be no hospitals, no warning bells, no preparations. Just a quick exit. He will not tell anybody. We need to know we’ve done everything is our power to appreciate Him while He’s still alive.

Thank you for reading

To conclude, here are a few relevant quotes by Mohanji:

“When we fail to understand hearts, we fail to understand life. Life is an every moment flow. Kindness makes it worthwhile. Love makes it delicious. Enmity and hatred blows out the light of love from life and keeps it in pitch darkness. Kindness rekindles it. Compassion maintains it. Love keeps our hearts health.”

“There is no language more versatile than love. There is no language that transcends human barriers more than love. There is nothing comparable to the love of a mother. The love of a guru is unfathomable and transformative. All we need is love. All we are is love. Everything else is illusions.”

“Respect is our Heritage. Respect is our culture. Respect is our tradition. Respect for all beings protects all beings. Respect preserves, protects, nurtures life.”

“Unity is strength. Wise live a life of selflessness because it is practical wisdom, to share and grow. Separation is ignorance.”

“People are personalities. When they raise themselves in purpose, PERSONALITY starts dissolving. When PURPOSE matures, person becomes PRESENCE. He becomes immortal, eternal.”
