My adventures with Mohanji in Australia

Updated: Mar 18, 2024

Please note: MCB = Mohanji Centre of Benevolence. Even though MCBs exist in other countries too, such as the UK, Canada etc, in this blog, I will be talking ONLY about the MCB in Australia

Part 1 - Fulfillment that Mohanji gave me in Perth

To understand how my journey to Australia materialized, please start by reading another blog by clicking here.

Today's topic will be different. I'll delve into how Mohanji orchestrated the fulfillment of all my desires during this trip. While the blog may be lengthy, it encapsulates numerous significant stories that I felt were essential to share.

From the moment I entered Australia (even though Mohanji physically joined us only five days later - my friend Sanja and I were alone during those five days), Mohanji, in his own invisible ways, remotely made sure that all our desires were fulfilled. It's very characteristic of Mohanji to fulfill people's deepest desires. He even said one time a few years ago, “I am born to fulfill all your people’s desires because this is my last life on Earth and you should all have completion.” He was talking to a small group of only a few of us, but I believe he was referring to all people who connect to him very deeply.

Of course, some desires are unrealistic but I am not talking about that today. I am talking about the sincerest heartfelt desires that Mohanji hears from our hearts and completes one by one, which many people who connected to Mohanji experienced.

On 20th Feb 2024, I landed in Perth and spent five days there with Sanja. On 25th Feb, Mohanji landed in Perth and we all welcomed him at the airport. We then continued to the Mohanji Centre of Benevolence (MCB) which is a 6 hour drive from Perth.

List of fulfilled desires

  1. I had deeply desired to enjoy Perth with someone I love, someone whose presence is pleasant to me. I got to enjoy it thoroughly with Sanja who I connected to even more deeply than before. Our time there was truly special. I regard this as an incredibly precious gift from Mohanji because there was no way this desire could have been fulfilled without my connection to him.

  2. I also had a desire to enjoy a city like Perth on my own. I had a deep craving for this and it spontaneously got fulfilled during some of my walks alone in the city.

  3. I had a desire to walk alone in the city and stop for some vegan sushi. It may be funny, but it weighed on my chest like a persistent craving.

  4. I had a deep desire to do a charity donation of food on Mohanji’s birthday (23rd of February) with Sanja, because Mohanji always says – “For my birthdays, don’t buy me gifts, instead, do something for the helpless beings of the world.” Our plan was to donate food to somebody, as a token of gratitude to him for all he has done for the world and for us.  But for days, I couldn’t find any appropriate place to liaise with. You know that feeling when something just refuses to happen, no matter how hard you try? Well, I tried and tried and nothing was happening. There always seemed to have been obstacles in the way or unanswered calls that prevented things from falling into place. Finally, it was one day before Mohanji’s birthday. It was already too late to search for a donation opportunity. Exactly at 5:59 PM (everything closes at 6 PM), one minute before closing, I pick up my phone and call the first number that came on the screen when I searched almost the same as I searched the previous days, and finally – success. We managed to finalize our donation plan with the “Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre” in the nick of time, just one minute before they closed. It felt like yet another impossible feat that miraculously came together. We got it fixed not on any other day but on FRIDAY one minute before closing. The following day wasn't an option as it was already the weekend. I knew Mohanji's hand was at work in making it happen.

  5. I had a very deep desire to see wild animals, which got fulfilled through the incident I explained above – our donation at the “Kanyana wildlife rehabilitation centre” for the wildlife!

  6. Throughout the journey, numerous "small" desires were fulfilled along the way – capturing beautiful photos of the trip, exploring specific places, immersing in the essence of life in Perth, experiencing the warmth of some family moments with Sanja, and countless other moments that I won't delve into individually.

  7. Both Sanja and I harbored another silent desire to wait for Mohanji at the airport upon his arrival in Perth. We never truly believed it would materialize, but it did!

It takes great “coincidence” to fill up a 3-week trip with the fulfillment of dozens of desires. So, I don’t consider this a coincidence. I consider this 100% the work of Mohanji’s hands, because there is no other way or explanation. So far, I told you about my first week in Perth. Now, let me share what awaited us at the Mohanji Centre of Benevolence which is a six hour drive from Perth. I will narrate the story in segments/categories.

Part 2 - Mohanji Centre of Benevolence (MCB)

Road trip

We welcomed Mohanji at the airport. We boarded a minivan that Ananth and Neal (the two main people who stay at MCB) had rented for us. We embarked on a journey! Along the way, we paused to indulge in some pizza and vegan ice cream, savoring precious family moments together. Desires fulfilled: road trip, shared meals, family moments. Feeling of FAMILY! We journeyed towards MCB late into the night. I overflowed with joy.

The significance of MCB Australia

A Dutch scientist came to the MCB and tested the energy of this place and found that this place is very powerful and significant energetically, that it is like a power vortex, energy center. It is a very powerful place on the side of the Franklin river and the ocean. Two more rivers are joining a little bit later, and all three are then joining the ocean just a few kilometers away from the MCB.

Around 10-15 years ago one saint was travelling this way and happened to stay in this place. At that time, it was a resort. The saint said that this cannot be a resort, it will become an ashram. He said a powerful master will come here, buy the space, and there will be temples here. He said this and travelled further.

It is said that no spiritual practice is necessary for visitors to experience profound transformations; simply being present in this location can create positive shifts in one's life. However, if somebody chooses to do spiritual practice while in this space, the effects are believed to be amplified.

Parrot’s feather and Mohanji’s ability to know everything

Upon our arrival at MCB around 1 AM, we rested briefly before starting the day early. As I awoke, I realized I had misplaced my hair rubber which was very important to me. I prayed to Shirdi Sai Baba for guidance, and I was astounded when, within minutes, I stumbled upon it in the minivan which had its doors open towards me as I walked, as if inviting me to come near. It was a tangible sign of Baba's presence before I even began to explore MCB.

Despite my rest, I felt an inexplicable exhaustion lingering. During my first day at MCB, I had the privilege of meeting Mohanji swiftly. While walking with a few others near his residence, Mohanji halted abruptly and picked up a feather from the ground. To my amazement, it was a 28 parrot’s feather. With a knowing smile, he remarked, "This will energize you”. I couldn’t believe it. He addressed the very concern that was on my mind - how to energize myself and why am I feeling so tired despite my nap! He just proved his mind-reading abilities once again.

From a 80-year-old to a 20-year-old

On February 27th, I had the opportunity to visit Mohanji at his residence. Upon arrival, I had a task to deliver something to the individuals residing there. Apart from Mohanji and his personal assistants, his uncle and aunty also stayed there. They had accompanied Mohanji from India.

As Mohanji noticed my presence, he gently tapped my head three times, and in an instant, I felt a wave of heavy emotions dissipate. His compassionate touch seemed to penetrate deep within me, bringing relief to burdens I didn't even realize I was carrying. Then, to my surprise, Mohanji placed his thumb on my forehead, holding it there for some time. In that moment, a profound sense of rejuvenation washed over me. It was as though I shed decades of weariness, returning to a state of youthful vitality. The heaviness that had weighed upon my mind evaporated, leaving behind a sense of clarity and peace that I hadn't felt in weeks. It was as if an 80-year-old suddenly became 20 again. The old bitter mind (which I don’t even know how it became bitter) suddenly turned into a fresh, worry-free, clean mind. I cannot find words to express my gratitude for this blessing.

Later that day, as Ananth and I engaged in tasks within Mohanji's residence, every minute spent there felt like a deeper and deeper cleansing, even though Mohanji was in a different room. It was a testament to the profound energy and presence that permeated Mohanji's abode, facilitating profound shifts within those who entered its space.

New feather and roaming with Kangaroos

Later, while walking with Mohanji under the warm sun, Thea approached me during her photoshoot. She said that Mohanji had a special gift for me—a new feather that he had personally bestowed upon her, instructing her to pass it on to me. When I got it, Mohanji said that the peacock had relinquished the feather, specifically for me. It turned out to be a pristine white feather from a white peacock, a beautiful and unexpected gift. I sensed this was more than just a feather; it likely signified another surge of energy for me. In the days that followed, I indeed noticed shifts in my behavior and energy levels.

As the day drew to a close, we saw a mother kangaroo and her baby, just a few meters away from us, peacefully coexisting in their natural habitat. The only thought in my mind was — “I cannot believe a place exists on Earth where animals are not afraid of humans.”

Excursion with Mohanji and his transformative powers

On the morning of 28 Feb 2024, Ananth and I still had some work in Mohanji’s house. We were fixing the windows. Then an unexpected excursion surprised us – an opportunity to visit the Giant Tingle Tree in Walpole, Western Australia, with Mohanji. During our stay in Australia, Sanja expressed, more than once, that her deep desire was to go somewhere with Mohanji, for an excursion, outside of MCB, while staying in MCB. We were astonished when we realized her wish was granted. It was an unforgettable experience, fulfilling Sanja's longing beyond measure.

Mohanji was fascinated by the trees near the Giant Tingle Tree. He didn’t spend much time with the Giant Tingle Tree itself, but he considered the trees in its vicinity as “multidimensional” and even told us more about them. He especially liked one of them which he considered as very unique. He remarked,

“I didn’t spend time with the Giant Tingle Tree, but I wanted to see this other tree and I wanted to experience it. When we say trees can activate you, here's a practical example. People have said – 'Oh, I've tried meditating with my back towards the tree and nothing happened.' Nothing will happen if you are not aligned at the right place (of that tree). So you've got to feel the tree. The space we found in this tree is like the spine of the tree. And if you put your spine there, it rapidly goes upwards in energy. But you've got to test it. Especially with a big tree. It's not easy to say where the spine of the tree is. It's not always aligned to a direction or location. You've got to test it. And you will feel it. The frequency will be different at each place of the tree. Some trees don't like people, or anybody, anything. They reject you. Because they want to be alone. They don’t really like people bothering them, or anybody bothering them. They say, ‘Okay, you want to sit, you sit, I don’t care.’ Very simple, right?”

During the excursion, I felt sad for some reason and it stayed with me for 20-30 minutes. The moment Mohanji called my name and took a photo with me, it disappeared totally. He has a cure for absolutely everything. Maybe it’s tapping on the head, maybe just his presence, maybe a photo, but he knows how to solve each thing, and he always knows our thoughts and worries.

The smell of Mohanji

I have written before that Mohanji has no bad smell ever, but in Australia I experienced it again. He didn’t wear any perfume, but when I hugged him, he had a distinct aroma that is very characteristic of him. It is not a detergent, a shampoo, or a soap, it is beyond that. It’s something very pure, very clean, very bright. It is like the smell of his energy. I also observed that even when I touched his hand, away from his clothes, the same scent lingered, indicating that it emanates from his skin, not any external factors.

Desire to experience being Mohanji’s PA again

Even though my role as Mohanji’s PA (personal assistant) concluded years ago, sometimes I still get opportunities to help out the current team and I value those chances from the depth of my heart. I get a few of such opportunities in almost every location, and so it happened in Australia too, through somde small tasks. It was another deep desire fulfilled. What more can I ask for?

Mohanji’s invisible work and understanding Serbian

During a walk around the center one day, our small group—including three of us from Serbia, Mohanji, and his uncle and aunt—experienced a remarkable moment. When one of the Serbian ladies spoke in our native language, Mohanji responded in English, surprising us all. While we knew Mohanji had a basic understanding of Serbian, his comprehension of complex sentences left us astonished. He doesn’t speak Serbian. But this wasn't the first instance of Mohanji understanding languages without actually knowing them.

Later that day, as we returned, one member of our group said to Mohanji, “You’re fast today”. He was indeed walking very rapidly around the center and we followed him. His simple response, “I'm doing work”, revealed the depth of his unseen efforts. We realized that his rapid movements around the center signified significant cleansing, a task he performs invisibly and seldom discusses.

Reading Sanja’s mind — chocolate

One day before the retreat BE YOU had started, Sanja and I, as core volunteers of the retreat BE YOU, plus Ananth as the president of Mohanji Foundation Australia, had to meet with Mohanji to discuss the program details. Mohanji is the one who needs to give a green light to the final program schedule.

Gathered around Mohanji in his residence, he smiled warmly and reached for a chocolate from his table. Extending it towards Sanja and me, he remarked to Sanja, “You wanted this, right?” Sanja was astonished. She smiled and took the chocolate. I didn’t know what was the story behind it. Then she told me the story. She, indeed, had anticipated this gesture. She shared,

“Before he offered us that chocolate, I had a huge desire that he offers us something for food, something that was in his proximity, in his room, or something that he had eaten. I generally love chocolate a lot, so this was another miracle that he offered exactly that.

Also, a couple of days before this meeting, Jo and I were awaiting a private meeting with Mohanji in his house. While waiting, we noticed that same chocolate resting on his table. Jo suggested, 'Maybe that's for us?' I hesitated, insisting, 'No, no, I don't open anything without asking him first.' Jo said, 'I have a feeling it's for us.' However, I remained firm, saying, 'I won't take anything unless Mohanji or someone offers it, as it may be his.' And then, a few days later, during the meeting with Ananth, Mina, and me, as we finalized the retreat program, he offered me that chocolate, saying, 'You wanted this, right?' These two incidents occurred just a few days apart. So he knew exactly my thoughts, even from the time I was sitting here with Jo, talking about chocolate.”

Reading Sanja’s mind — mangoes

There is another similar experience that Sanja shared. She said,

“Throughout these days, I found myself yearning for mangoes. It all began when, on the first day, Mohanji requested me to prepare mangoes exclusively for his special guests, Dolf and Ideke. Since then, my craving only intensified. A few days later, during another meeting with Mohanji, where Monika Dizdarevic and I were present to discuss the retreat's program, I couldn't help but notice a bowl of mangoes placed near Mohanji. In that moment, I silently wished, 'Oh, I wish he could offer us at least a small piece of mango from his bowl!' To my astonishment, Mohanji smiled, seemingly aware of my thoughts. He gestured towards the bowl and asked, 'Do you want it?' Overjoyed, I replied, 'Yes!' I confessed to Mohanji that I had been fantasizing about this since our arrival, to which he chuckled.

Apparently, Mohanji hadn't eaten from the bowl yet. Monika and I insisted that he should eat first, and we would enjoy whatever remained. To our delight, later on, Thea, Mohanji's personal photographer and assistant, surprised Monika and me with a whole new bowl of mangoes to share. What's more, Mohanji even left a few pieces in his own bowl for us to enjoy. In this way, he fulfilled both of my deepest desires—to relish mangoes in general and to savor mangoes directly from his bowl. Once again, his knowing smile reassured me that he was aware of my innermost thoughts.”

Mohanji displaying his clairvoyance

We were gathered in Mohanji’s house—myself, Preeti Duggal, Thea Klincov, Mohanji’s uncle, and aunt. While Thea, uncle, and aunty were seated at the dining table with Mohanji, Preeti Duggal and I were positioned behind them. Mohanji's back was turned towards us, facing the dining table. At that moment, Preeti Duggal, whom Mohanji jokingly calls “God”, briefly massaged my shoulders with affection. Without moving an inch, Mohanji exclaimed, "God is massaging Mina." There was no way he could have seen that! Plus, she did it only for a second. Despite facing away from us, he seemed to perceive our actions as if he was seeing us from behind. This is not the first time Mohanji does something like this. Such things are very frequent in his presence.

Culture of respect created by Mohanji

During a visit to Mohanji's house one day, I witnessed a profound display of respect and care. As I arrived, I found Mohanji having breakfast with his uncle and aunt, who also reside in the same house. First of all, Mohanji does everything he can to give his uncle and aunt a lot of respect and love. He's a great example of how we should behave with our family. He ensures they feel important and respected, taking them for walks, engaging them in conversations, and even making sure they are photographed so that those photos can stay as their nice memories. It’s interesting that a personality like Mohanji, so busy and active, with so much work on his plate, still doesn’t neglect his family duty. So, I believe, we can never say we are too busy to take care of our own, especially our closest ones.

The second thing I witnessed was this. When Mohanji finished his breakfast, he stood up next to the balcony to watch the birds eat. This means, he had already put food for them before tending to his own meal. This practice is a perfect example of Mohanji's exceptional quality—prioritizing other beings before himself. He also believes that no beings deserve to eat people's leftovers or to be denied sustenance.

Birds were slowly concluding their meal. Mohanji stood there, watching them for about three more minutes in silence. He commented, “It's a feast.” He didn't take his eyes off of them until he was sure they were satisfied. He added, “Ate, drank water, now they're comfortable.” He expressed his joy at seeing them well-fed. His deep desire is for all beings to be happy and content. He remarked that especially all beings at our center should always be happy, and never hungry.

Answered the unasked questions

Mohanji's ability to answer unasked questions is a testament to his deep understanding and connection with those around him or those who connect to him. He often addresses concerns by reading people's minds beforehand, saving time and offering guidance in advance. Many have marveled at how he responds to their inquiries without them ever vocalizing them. He also often makes eye contact with those who internally asked that question. This would occur during the daily Satsangs (spiritual discourses) with him, which were held as part of the retreat, BE YOU.

On March 6, 2024, I personally experienced this phenomenon when I harbored four questions in my mind. Without me uttering a word, Mohanji addressed each query with precision, at times glancing directly at me. First, I wanted to know more about Hanumanji’s stories, which he spontaneously started to speak about. Following that, I wanted to hear about facing fears, which he addressed directly too. Then, I had two more questions, and two more answers followed — unverbalized by me, heard by him. His ability to anticipate and respond to unspoken thoughts underscores his profound powers and intuitive abilities.

Sanja, acting as the host of the entire retreat on behalf of Ananth, who serves as the president of Mohanji Australia, was responsible for reading out questions written by participants. She noted that Mohanji frequently addressed many of the questions before they were read aloud. On numerous occasions, she would begin to read a question only for Sanja to pause and inform Mohanji, “You have already answered the next one or two questions, so let's move forward.” This occurrence became quite common during the sessions. At one point, Sanja even jokingly asked Mohanji if he was reading the questions before her, despite him being several meters away and having no access to the written inquiries.

Don’t take things too seriously

On International Women's Day, it was just one day before my departure back to Serbia. The impending farewell stirred feelings of sadness and nostalgia. I felt a deep attachment formed to both the place and Mohanji's impactful presence therein.

Ananth, I and a couple of us were sitting with Mohanji for a brief casual conversation at his house. I came to say goodbye to Mohanji before my departure, and Ananth sought guidance on managing a challenging situation with one person. Mohanji imparted a valuable lesson to him, advising to adopt a more casual approach. He said,

“Take it casually. Don’t take it too seriously. If you take things too seriously, you have to place them into some category. Many situations you cannot put in any category. Many times in life you can’t put it anywhere. For example, one doctor called me to attend a function. I said, “I can come but I cannot stay for the whole program.” Then he said, “No problem, you coming itself is a big deal.” So I said, “Okay, I’m coming.” And I could stay only for 30 minutes. Then it’s done and both sides are happy. You know? So, you are not putting it in any category, “essential”, “non essential”, “positive”, “negative”. You are just accepting it with flexibility. You may be wondering if something should be done or not done, if this is okay or not okay, but you can very well meet somewhere in the middle. Definitely prioritize, but also be a bit casual.

When you know it’s good to fulfill something, and that it’s better not to reject and say ‘no’, then you go there for some time, and come back. Means, do it up to your level of capacity. You also need to maintain some relationships with people. If some people care about your presence, go there at least for a little bit.”

This lesson resonated deeply with me, serving as a timely reminder of the importance of maintaining lightness and perspective in navigating life's challenges. I believe Mohanji didn’t share this story only to Ananth but to anyone reading this.

Injured baby near Baba

The day when Mohanji spoke to Ananth about taking things casually, is the same day I noticed an injured baby near Baba in Mohanji’s house. There is a three-feet Shirdi Sai Baba statue in one of Mohanji’s rooms inside of his house, and while walking past it, I saw a small injured parrot.

During Mohanji’s stay in MCB, the parrot had a collision and got injured. It was a question whether he would make it. Mohanji, Thea and the group rescued him and made him a nest in the small Sai Baba shrine in Mohanji’s house. Mohanji was confident that he would make it, and that Baba would take care of that. Mohanji gave him the name “Pushpa” which is the name of a Bollywood badass. He gave the parrot this name to give him the strength to fight and get better day by day. It is uncertain yet if he can eventually return back to his old life in the wilderness or whether he will need assistance forever, but the miracle is that he is still with us. He started walking and the recovery is unimaginable. According to Ananth, he even responds to his name call. Ananth said, “I think we have one more member to our family of beings we care for.”

Mohanji fulfilling my last desire to see him

It was the morning of March 9th, 2024. I learned that I would be traveling back to Perth with an older couple who are devoted followers of Shirdi Sai Baba and reside in Perth. I felt grateful for the opportunity to spend my final moments in Australia listening to their stories about Baba. The couple mentioned that they would meet Mohanji before our departure.

As I've mentioned earlier, I had already said goodbye to Mohanji. However, when I heard that he had some free time that morning with no other visitors scheduled, I felt a deep yearning to see him once more. I hesitated to reach out to Milica or Thea, Mohanji's personal assistants, as I had already spent time with him the previous day. Despite trying to suppress this desire, it lingered in my heart, leaving a small sense of loneliness within me.

Suddenly, Thea texted me, "You can come to see Mohanji again before you leave if you want." I was overjoyed; such opportunities rarely come by. I replied to her, confirming that I would come. Mohanji had heard my innermost longing once again and acted through Thea!

During my time in Australia, I had several other desires fulfilled: walking with Mohanji to the nearby river's jetty, feeding the baby calf Nandini, visiting a beach with friends/family from the Mohanji family, and visiting a beach with Mohanji himself. I also had a longing for somebody to create a song about Mohanji with an American country-style vibe, and it really happened! I unexpectedly discovered it while in Australia, and it is called “Mohanji, we need you!” The song deeply touches the heart. This was exactly the song I was hoping to have. I felt overjoyed and here it is on YouTube if you want to take a listen.

Smooth travel back home

On my journey back home, despite the potential for numerous challenges, everything unfolded seamlessly. As I had shared before, two devotees of Shirdi Sai Baba graciously offered to drive me back to Perth instead of me taking the bus as I had expected. Upon reaching Perth, I anticipated spending several hours alone with my luggage before heading to the airport. However, to my delight, they welcomed me into their home, allowing me to freshen up and even treating me to a relaxing dinner. When it was time for my flight, they kindly drove me to the airport, making a thoughtful stop along the way so I could purchase gifts for my family. Everything was unbelievably beautiful for me, I felt so taken care of. I felt it as if it was gift from the tradition of masters, the one that Mohanji and Baba represent.

I never anticipated such incredible support, but I am aware that it is a common occurrence when we are connected to Mohanji. I had expected to be alone, waiting for hours at the airport without the opportunity to freshen up. I was pleasantly surprised to receive the utmost luxury and care. Furthermore, during our travel back to Perth, they shared their personal stories of how Shirdi Sai Baba had profoundly impacted their lives. These stories were not only truthful and powerful but also deeply moving. Despite having knowledge of Baba's miracles, it was astonishing to hear more people witness the same level of miracles from the same master in such tangible ways. Baba's presence is beyond words—an unbelievable and incredible miracle. Baba is just Baba... pure love and grace.

Another potential challenge I faced was entering Turkey with my medication. I needed to enter Turkey for one night due to a long layover in Istanbul—an entire night's stay. Knowing I couldn't stay awake for such an extended period, I booked accommodation. Despite being aware of Turkey's strict regulations regarding personal medication (I carried homeopathy), I encountered no issues upon entry. I could sense Mohanji's presence guiding me every step of the way, from finding last-minute accommodation to having fortunate encounters with helpful Uber drivers who went above and beyond, allowing me to relax and rest throughout the night in Istanbul, and safely returning me to the airport for my flight. Without this divine assistance, managing everything on my own, especially given my disorientation due to changing time zones and menstrual pain, would have been nearly impossible.

Reflecting on the journey, I realized how many things could have gone wrong, yet they didn't. My family's concerns, especially fears by one of my aunts about how I would manage on my own, served as a reminder of how fortunate I am to be continuously protected by Mohanji.

Hot chocolate thought transferred

So, the journey back home was as miraculous as the entire trip. I was pleasantly surprised by how my wish to shorten my layover in Malaysia came true. Initially planned for 6 hours, I only spent 4 hours there, much to my delight. I had prayed fervently to minimize my time in Malaysia, and the flight delay that caused the shortening was a welcomed twist of Mohanji’s response to my prayers.

Another miraculous incident occurred when I was purchasing hot chocolate for myself at the Malaysia airport. I inquired with a male staff member if they had vegan milk, to which he confirmed that they had it. This was my first purchase in this cafe. After contemplating for a few minutes, I decided to proceed with the order. Interestingly, the man I asked turned out to be in charge of distributing the already paid goods, while a different lady was taking orders separately. There was no communication between them, especially regarding my hot chocolate order. Why would there be? I went to the lady and asked her if they had hot chocolate, and she confirmed, but mentioned it came with cold milk. For me, it was just important that it was without coffee, so I accepted the cold milk. Unfortunately, I didn’t specify my need for vegan milk. However, moments later, I noticed on her screen that the order included “oat milk.” I was astonished as there had been no communication between her and the male staff member from earlier. They were both occupied with their tasks, and yet she accurately included oat milk in my order, fulfilling my unspoken requirement for vegan milk. It was a remarkable moment that left me in awe of how things unfolded.

Just a couple of days ago, we had an intriguing conversation at Mohanji's house about how easy it can be to transfer a thought to someone's mind. The discussion began when someone shared a story about a lady who went to a restaurant with Mohanji a few years ago, accompanied by a small group that included me; there were about six of us. The lady had a strong desire for a specific meal that day, and to our surprise, the waiter brought her exactly what she wanted without her placing an order. It was an Indian bread called Puri, big size. We all chuckled and glanced at Mohanji, particularly the lady who received the meal. She was amazed and exclaimed, “Mohanji, how did he know my order? This is exactly what I wanted! I didn't even place an order.” It was a memorable incident from 2017. Fast forward to 2024 in Australia, we found ourselves recalling this experience and discussing it again. Mohanji simply commented,

“It’s easy. The lady had a strong desire for that specific meal, and her thought was reaching me. I merely took that thought and transferred it to the waiter's mind. From his perspective, it seemed like he had already taken her order. He didn't realize that he hadn't actually taken the order; to him, it was just a natural response to fulfill her request. I just took the thought and transferred it. Easy, right?”

This incident occurred just a few days before my hot chocolate experience in Malaysia. Knowing that I would feel saddened about wasting cow milk, Mohanji ensured that everything aligned perfectly, even though I didn’t specify that I wanted the vegan milk.

Baba’s connection to my Australian journey

Who is Baba?

Shirdi Sai Baba, a Hindu saint, is widely revered as a powerful master who transcends religious boundaries, attracting followers of various nationalities. He is renowned for offering protection, support, and fulfilling the desires of those who connect with him or seek his guidance. My connection to Baba was facilitated through Mohanji, who holds deep love and reverence for him. I soon found Baba’s relevance in my life too. Since then, Baba has taken up a significant and cherished place in my heart.

Letter to Baba

In the Mohanji Peace Center, located in Serbia, my home country, there is a representation of Shirdi Sai Baba alongside a box labeled "letters to Baba." This box allows people to write letters containing their desires, aspirations, goals, and aims, which they then surrender to Baba. Baba is renowned for responding to sincere prayers, and countless individuals have experienced the fulfillment of their desires, whether through letters or other means.

While I don't believe we should ask Baba or God for everything, I do believe that for matters of significant importance to us, it is appropriate to seek guidance. This is not because Baba cannot hear us; he already knows everything about us even without a letter. Writing a letter serves as a tool for us to reaffirm our desires and focus in life. It helps us clarify our goals and stay focused on our journey.

On December 31st, 2023, I wrote a letter to Baba where I briefly mentioned my plan to visit Australia, following Mohanji's guidance that visiting it once in a lifetime is essential. Now, that desire has been fulfilled.

Baba in Serbia and Australia

While in Serbia, after encountering the "pure mind" experience in Mohanji's presence in 2023, as I had detailed in a previous blog which you can read by clicking here, numerous positive shifts occurred in my life. Among these changes, I began to perceive Shirdi Sai Baba as truly alive. Although I had heard others speak of him as more than a mere statue, I hadn't personally experienced it until then. Suddenly, it all became real to me. I no longer saw just a statue in the temple; I felt Baba himself. It was as if he was actually present, speaking, and imparting wisdom.

I noticed that I could hear Baba's voice distinctly. Mohanji had mentioned that this could happen—receiving messages from Baba and hearing him clearly, especially after my “pure mind” experience, or simply through practicing feeling one's spine near Baba. However, I never believed it could happen to me. Since that day, I have heard Baba clearly on numerous occasions, even seeing him moving his head, and it all proved to be true. When I came to Australia, my spiritual experience with Baba from Australia was that he was so silent compared to Serbia. Initially, I worried why I couldn’t hear Baba or see his head moving like in Serbia. Through the thunders of my mind I felt a big rock of a strong voice coming through, “I am working on you.” This was a completely new experience for me. I realized that each one of them serves a different, powerful purpose. I was so humbled and happy to be there.

Some quotes that particularly resonated with me during the Satsangs (spiritual discourses with Mohanji):

Mohanji spoke about what happens when a man becomes a God-man, when he/she transcends his/her human barriers and merges with God. He remarked,

”Every river eventually merges with the ocean. Every river stays as an individual, before it loses its individuality, and merges with the supreme—the ocean. But when the river comes close to the ocean, it shivers. At that point in time, there is no turning back. It shivers. It feels like—What to do when I merge with the ocean? It could be terrible.” Mohanji continued, “It is terrible. It is terrible to lose your identity. At some point in time, you have to let go. Then the river finally understands—Wow, I am the ocean! I am so huge. Why did I stay as a river all this time? Why did I ever stay separate as the river?’”

Secondly, somebody asked a question about how to increase the intensity of our connection to a chosen master / guru. He said our connection with our guru can only be intensified if we increase our connection to ourselves. He gave a practical example how we can do it. He said, “If you spend time with yourself with discipline, feeling yourself, every day, your intensity of connection to yourself will be higher. That intensity will also increase for the connection to your master.” He also remarked that intensity is much more important than longevity in connection.

And thirdly, I liked the following suggestion he gave to another person who asked a similar question. The question was, “How to increase eligibility?” Meaning, in order to be able to receive more from a spiritual path.

Mohanji said, “Through self-acceptance. Get up every morning and ask yourself — ‘How much have I accepted myself?’ Do this one day, two days, a hundred days, do the same thing. Keep asking. When you go deeper and deeper in this question (self-acceptance) you will have more clarity."
